Currently we are working on pixar in a box. I decided I wanted to do an alternate assignment that still ran along the lines of animation. My teacher and I came to the conclusion that I would create "food doodles". Food Doodles are essentially gifs where you manipulate the the food and animate a face onto it with editing software. We also concluded that I will animate my first design for my senior project on editing software as well, which will allow me to see "the real deal" before the mural is put on the wall. Today was about finding an activity and a plan to follow so that I can create my own animations too.

I chose to put this face on my sweater for a few reasons. I really like the artist Tyler, The Creator so I took the face off his album called Cherry Bomb. I chose this because I would really like to get a sweater exactly like this, they just aren't made. I think the colors look really good together and it's not something you see every day.
These are my kaleidoscope creations from photoshop! Each of the photos was taken and morphed by me. we used the filter gallery, changed the canvas size, duplicated the layers, changed rotation of the images and more.
For double, instead of creating a staple city, I chose to practice some portraits and action shots. I chose to practice these two because the action shots allow me to practice with shutter speed and ISO. I chose to practice portraits because I have a difficult time with them. Portraits tend to come out blurry for me, so I wanted to take the opportunity to practice and produce some nice photos for my classmates. The portraits are definitely my favorite out of the two because of how you can style them. With portraits, you have the ability to take your time and spend more time setting the scene. With the action shots, you have to be extremely precise which makes it a lot harder. overall a fun double!
for a double, we made stencils and street art using photoshop! the originals are posted with the new street art.
